Design and operating principle
The cardioid polar pattern rejects sound arriving from the rear and reduces the risk of acoustic feedback when operating near loudspeakers. Sensitivity is −42 dB ± 2 dB, the frequency range is 40 Hz – 16 kHz, and the 200 Ω output impedance matches the microphone inputs of VPA amplifiers. The working distance to the talker is 20–50 cm. A 5 m cable is included; power is 9 V DC or 220 V AC.
