Voice Announcement Units and Controllers for Security Systems

This category brings together programmable devices for building automatic security-announcement systems and scheduled paging. These devices handle the automatic playback of pre-recorded messages triggered by external systems (a panic button, access control, an intruder alarm, CCTV) or by a programmed schedule (school bells, store-closing announcements, regular information messages).

Product line

  • VPA-ANT 8P — a programmable trigger-driven MP3 player with positive triggering logic, 7 trigger inputs, RS485, 8 MB flash + USB/microSD up to 32 GB, and a built-in 10 W Class-D amplifier
  • VPA-ANT 8N — the same player with negative logic (ground-switching) for compatibility with different types of security systems
  • VPA-Timer — a multi-zone controller-player for 6 zones with scheduled auto-playback, USB/Bluetooth/FM and a priority microphone input

Applications

The VPA-ANT 8P and VPA-ANT 8N units are installed in announcement cabinets and are triggered by a command from a panic button or a security system, automatically playing a pre-recorded message about evacuation, a security threat or another emergency. The VPA-Timer controller additionally supports a programmable schedule — it sets daily automatic playback at the required times across the selected zones. All devices integrate with VPA systems and are compatible with standard security relay outputs.

Why it matters

As security requirements for public venues and mass-gathering sites have tightened in recent years, automatic voice-announcement systems have become a mandatory part of the safety infrastructure of shopping centres, schools, educational institutions, sports venues and public spaces. The ANT line and the VPA-Timer are designed with these requirements in mind.
