Ceiling Loudspeakers for PA and Voice Alarm

Ceiling loudspeakers are the standard solution for covering retail floors, offices, conference centres, healthcare facilities and public spaces with a suspended ceiling or a solid concrete slab. The VPA-P series brings together seven models from 3 to 20 W with different mounting options: flush-mount for suspended ceilings, surface-mount for concrete, directional units with an adjustable coverage angle, and downlight-style recessed models.

Ceiling loudspeaker line-up

  • VPA-PP3 (3 W, IP54) — compact, for wet areas: restrooms, showers, pool halls
  • VPA-P3 (3 W) — flush-mount, minimal installation depth
  • VPA-PM6 (3/6/10 W) — downlight form factor, for designer interiors
  • VPA-P10 (3–10 W) — all-metal enclosure, extra durability
  • VPA-P20 (10/20 W) — coaxial, extended frequency range up to 20 kHz for high-quality music
  • VPA-PN10 (5/10 W) — surface-mount on the ceiling, no cut-out required
  • VPA-ND10 (5/10 W) — directional, adjustable radiation angle

How to choose a ceiling loudspeaker

Spacing is calculated from the ceiling height and the driver's directivity pattern. For a typical height of 3 metres, 3–6 W loudspeakers are placed every 4–5 metres; for heights of 4–5 metres the spacing increases to 6–8 metres with a move to 10–20 W models. Every VPA-P model works through standard 70/100V transformer taps and connects to any MK-series or MATRIX amplifier.
