MC series — amplifiers with remote zone control
Six-zone amplifiers for large facilities where announcements must be made from several posts. Their key feature is support for the VPA-MC6 remote paging console: up to 6 consoles connect to a single amplifier, letting an operator select zones and make announcements away from the amplifier itself. Four microphone inputs with individual +48V phantom power, a dedicated emergency announcement input (EMC) with priority, a built-in MP3 player (USB / SD / Bluetooth / FM) and automatic background-music ducking during an announcement.

How to choose a mixer amplifier
Selection starts with two parameters — the system's total power and the number of independent zones. Add up the power of all loudspeakers and allow a 20–30% headroom: for example, 10 ceiling speakers of 10 W each → 100 × 1.3 = 130 W, and the VPA-MK 150Z3 is the ideal fit. If a large facility needs remote announcements from several points (a control room, security posts, reception desks), choose the MC series with VPA-MC6 consoles. For typical multi-zone tasks the MK series is enough.
