Active Loudspeakers with a Built-in Amplifier

The active VPA-AR30 and VPA-AK30 models have a built-in power amplifier and work as standalone sound points — with no connection to an external amplifier. All they need is an input audio signal from any source (a microphone, a player, a security-system output) and power. This is the solution for sites where running a 70/100V line is impossible or not cost-effective: remote gatehouses, temporary sites, facilities with no existing PA system, and security posts.

When to choose active models

Active loudspeakers are the best choice for building local point-to-point PA systems, for retrofitting sites without an existing system, and for temporary work sites and security posts. On sites that already run a working VPA public address system, adding extra active points is usually not worthwhile — passive models of the same power are cheaper.
